SUMMARY:Remembering Yitzhak Rabin: Hope that Will Not Die
DESCRIPTION:As we approach the 30th anniversary of the assassination of Rabin we recall his vision for peace in Israel and the Middle East. The life of Yitzhak Rabin mirrored the life of the people and state of Israel. In his own words\, “The joy of the Jewish people is always mixed with sorrow – the huppah with the broken glass underneath it. The dedication of a new house with an unfinished plaster as a remembrance of the destruction of the Temples. The Passover Seder and the bitter herbs. In Israel\, the tears of Yom HaZikaron touch the circles of dancers on Yom HaAtzmaut. Rabin knew joy and victory as well as tragedy and defeat.” November 4\, 2025 will mark 30 years since Rabin was assassinated by a Jewish extremist. This three-part class is led by Rabbi Jan Katzew and will take place on Zoom.

DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year again to volunteer for Sisterhood’s largest fundraiser! Don’t forget to clean out your closets and donate clothes and household items. Volunteers will help sort clothing during the morning drop off time. We also need help with the actual sale on Sunday afternoon and Monday evening to pack leftover items. Please sign up your teenagers and spouses to help as well! Great snacks provided! This is a fun event to help with and a great way to volunteer and get to know other Sisterhood members. *The money raised during the Rummage Sale is used to donate to camp scholarships\, youth group trips\, B’nei Mitzvah and Confirmation gifts\, and Sisterhood’s other charitable goals.*

Hear from Trenni Casey\, from NBC Sports\, about how women in sports broadcasting are breaking the glass ceiling in the industry. Enjoy a traditional Brotherhood bagel and lox breakfast. A 50-50 prize drawing will also take place. All proceeds from the breakfast will benefit The Nature Conservancy of Massachusetts in honor of Trenni Casey.
