Suitcase Stories

On Wednesday, June 12, 2019, please join TBS Tzedek in the Sanctuary at 7:30 pm to honor the contributions of refugees and immigrants through the timeless art of live storytelling. We welcome and support newcomers as they rebuild their lives and strengthen local communities. Suitcase Stories raises the profile of refugees and immigrants and expands community through the art of storytelling. Support local Needham residents as they bravely share their inspiring immigration stories. Proceeds from the event benefit the International Institute of New England, a non-profit organization that welcomes and assists immigrants in Greater Boston, Lowell, and Southern New Hampshire. This event is hosted by TBS and co-sponsored with Bahá'is of Needham, The Congregational Church of Needham, Cooperative Metropolitan Ministries, First Baptist Church in Needham, First Parish in Needham-Unitarian Universalist, The League of Women Voters of Needham, The Needham Area Immigration Task Force/Resettle Together, Needham Diversity Initiative, The Needham Human Rights Committee, and the Presbyterian Church in Needham.
