Why does it seem to be occurring with greater frequency amongst children and young adults? Does social media play a role in this increase?

Dr. Alan Stern is a TBS member and Needham based pediatrician who is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Children's Hospital. He received his medical degree from The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
