Applying to College in the Age of Covid-19
Registration Required- RSVP HERE
The college admissions process was confusing and stressful enough in 2019. Now, with a global pandemic disrupting every aspect of life as we knew it, families have more questions than ever. How will colleges interpret pass/fail grades? How can students showcase their passions when sports and clubs are cancelled? And what’s going on with standardized testing?
On Sunday, January 10th at 5:30pm, Dr. Lindsay Cohen of Spark Admissions will present a live webinar to TBS families to break down some of the most common myths about what college admissions offices are looking for, and offer guidance on how to put together the strongest possible application.
Dr. Cohen will shed light on some of the realities of how college admissions officers evaluate transcripts, essays, test scores, and resumes, while also suggesting ways to alleviate stress and anxiety. She will also speak specifically to how college admission offices will consider the impact of COVID-19 when evaluating applicants in the 2021-22 admission cycle.
Dr. Cohen’s presentation will last approximately 45 minutes, and will be followed by a short Q&A session.
