Mitzvah Mavens: Cards for Homebound Adults & Holocaust Survivors

Spend the afternoon creating Caring Cards and Birthday Cards for homebound older adults, including survivors of the Holocaust. In the past, this generation primarily communicated through handwritten notes and letters, so your personally written message will be particularly meaningful. Sending a handmade card is a wonderful way to connect with homebound older adults in JF&CS Schechter Holocaust Services program. We will also learn about the unique challenges faced by this group of recipients and be guided in how to write supportive and thoughtful notes.
