Aya Korem has been described as “one of the most talented, independent, and beloved singers of Israel’s younger generation!” Her music beautifully blends literary lyrics with thoughtful pop and folk influences. She has enjoyed collaborating with some of the best-known musicians in Israel. Aya just finished a incredibly successful U.S. tour that brought her to Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Seattle, Austin, and New York City. Due to the violence in Middle East, Aya’s planned return to Israel has been delayed and she has agreed to come to Boston for a pop-up ‘one night only’ concert at Temple Beth Shalom. The baby’s name, as is traditional, will be shared during the Naming Ceremony. Rabbi Elyse and Harry warmly welcome all who wish to celebrate to join them.
