Brotherhood
About Us
TBS Brotherhood is not a committee, but rather one of the communities of our broader congregational community. All men in the Temple Beth Shalom community are automatically members of Brotherhood.
Brotherhood has a full calendar of events throughout the year, including our annual Leroy Davis Sports Breakfast, regular “Shmoozefest” evenings (informal gatherings over dinner), our Brotherhood Blood Drive, spring softball (we field several softball teams (the TBS Bashers)), and more. All Brotherhood events are publicized through TBS communications throughout the year.
To learn more about Brotherhood, please attend any of our events or join us at one of our monthly Open Board Meetings (second Tuesday of most months between September and June).
If you have any questions, please contact us at brotherhood@tbsneedham.org.

Serving Our Temple Community
In addition to sponsoring great programs for the men of the TBS community, Brotherhood also supports our Temple community in many ways, including:
-
Welcoming members and guests to our Temple by serving as Shabbat and High Holy Day Service Greeters
-
Helping to keep our children (and adults!) safe in the parking lot
-
Ensuring that all TBS families who experience the loss of a loved one are able, should they choose, to have a minyan service leader at home during the period of shiva.
-
Building and taking down our congregation and Children’s Center sukkot.
For more information about how you can help with any of these community services, please contact us at brotherhood@tbsneedham.org.
