Aya Korem Concert

Aya Korem Pop-up Concert

Thursday, March 19, 7:00 PM

Aya Korem has been described as “one of the most talented, independent, and beloved singers of Israel’s younger generation!” Her music beautifully blends literary lyrics with thoughtful pop and folk influences. She has enjoyed collaborating with some of the best-known musicians in Israel. Aya just finished a incredibly successful U.S. tour that brought her to Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Seattle, Austin, and New York City. Due to the violence in Middle East, Aya’s planned return to Israel has been delayed and she has agreed to come to Boston for a pop-up ‘one night only’ concert at Temple Beth Shalom. This promises to be an incredible evening! Questions? Please contact Cantor DJ Fortine

Tickets are $45/person for non-TBS members. If you are a TBS member, please click here to purchase your tickets at a subsidized rate.

Create Your Own Hand-Tied Bouquets Workshop

Presented by Beth Paisner

on Tuesday, April 7 at 7:15pm

What’s the secret to making a beautiful bouquet? Please join us for a fun-filled evening on Tuesday April 7, for “Create your Own-Hand Tied Bouquets”, led by our own club member Beth Paisner and find out. Using fresh, beautiful flowers, attendees will be making their own gorgeous bouquets and finish them with a cheerful ribbon.

Beth Paisner was a self-taught designer when she had the good fortune to join the Museum of Fine Arts Associates program in 2010, where she discovered formal floral design principles and met the people who inspired her to go beyond them. She has participated in Art in Bloom in Boston and Needham, the Boston Flower Show, and events of all sizes. She still does selected special events at the MFA. One of her favorite things to do is playing with flowers and she is always happy to find reasons to indulge.

The charge for this workshop is $50. Please bring your floral scissors to the workshop.

Registration for this workshop is due by March 24, 2026.
