Canceled: “Our Tears Are the Same”: Bereaved Israelis and Palestinians Reach for Peace

Join us as we welcome two inspirational speakers – Israeli and Palestinian – from The Parents Circle – Families Forum. The Parents Circle-Families Forum is a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization made up of more than 800 bereaved families. Their common bond is that they have lost a close family member to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. But, instead of choosing revenge, they have chosen a path of reconciliation and of pursuing a peaceful, safe shared society in the Middle East. Tens of thousands of Israelis and Palestinians have been positively impacted by the work of The Parents Circle and by their shared embrace of the sanctity of human life. We are honored to welcome Elana Kaminka (an Israeli-American whose son was killed on October 7th) and Arab Aramin (a resident of East Jerusalem whose sister – at the age of ten – was killed outside her school by a border officer).
