Surviving Cuba: A Jewish Journey

Dr. Edgar Alain Basto, the son of Jewish immigrants, wanted more from life than Havana offered. But he couldn’t have imagined the treacherous journey that awaited him as he traveled to the U.S. Dr. Basto will share his dramatic story with the TBS Adult Learning Committee in a special, interactive Zoom session. He will provide our community – and especially those joining our upcoming Cuba trip – with the opportunity to hear about Cuba from a Cuban and Jewish perspective.
