We are honored to welcome Rabbi Miriam Klimova to Temple Beth Shalom. Rabbi Klimova serves Congregation Shirat HaYam in Haifa. Born and raised in Ukraine, she grew up in a Reform congregation where she was active in her community. Rabbi Klimova’s studies took her to Moscow and Poland where she served as both a prayer leader and gifted teacher. In 2018, Rabbi Klimova made aliyah to Israel and was ordained as a rabbi from the Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion. At Shirat HaYam, Rabbi Klimova works closely with the Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking Jewish communities, creating a meaningful spiritual home for Israelis of all backgrounds.
